Pavlik CANT live with CALZAGHE

thatsb bull****. Who has Calzaghe faced that has a good jab???
nobody. He dominated Lacy cause Lacy threw like 4 jabs the entire night and didnt land 1 of them.
Taylor showed last night that he has one of the best Jabs in the business, and would land it ALL night against Calzaghe NO QUESTION ABOUT IT. Calzaghe leaves his hands down, and doesnt really have a defense at all cause he uses his high output of punches as his defense.
I would predict a close fight until Taylor sets up a perfect jab followed by an overhand right, and then he would finish the fight shortly afterward.
Pavlik is a different story. I dont think he would get embarrassed at but style wise its bad for Pavlik. He would really have to do something spectacluar to pull that one out but he could do it. It would be an exciting fight, but id have to go with Calzaghe by comfortable decisionComment

Although I recently joined and don't have many posts, I've been watching these forums a long time and came to the conclusion that your fight predicting abilities are as low as they can get. Oh and Pavlik is sloppy but accurate puncher right? Makes so much sense...Calzaghe would absolutely destroy Pavlik based on what I saw last night. Pavlik is exactly what I thought he was. Good chin + big puncher and that's it. The guy has no fundamentals whatsoever. He's sloppy, his defense is terrible. Calzaghe will eat a guy like that up anytime. See the Lacy fight.
Do yourself a favor and stop embarrassing yourself..Comment

You're smoking some of that sherman **** aren't ya??
Taylor proved last night that he doesn't have a jab. His jab, even a couple years back when he was a prospect was always a range finder. Wasn't stiff with any sort of leverage and power on it. Was an arm punch thrown out so he can find home for the right hand. Even in the amateurs I saw that with the limited footage I saw.
Zag would slap around Pavlik/Taylor pretty good in my opinion. I think Pavlik would be harder for Zag because Pavlik has extreme strength...I think he is the strongest fighter at MW at the moment. Zag wouldn't knock him out but he would outwork him.
Pavlik would end up having to counterpunch. Only time I saw him counterpunch was against Mckart and that was against a former 154 lber. Mckart stretched him. Facing Zag is an entire different story. He just doesn't come at you in spurts. He comes at you with waves.
Spurts compared to waves? Get the comparison.
That's the comparison between Taylor and Zag. Two different classes.Comment

Yeah this guy knows whats up. You cant jab Zag because of his style and especially because it's orthodox vs. southpaw. southpaw v southpaw is a different story. That's why I would of always wanted to see Tarver - Zag a few years back.Comment
