Cotto and Berto have completely different styles. Cotto applies a lot more pressure and hits a lot harder, and has much more experience. Berto boxes more and doesnt hit as hard, he hits vey sharp but not that hard. Bertos offense looked great cause look at the style of the guy he fought, he was just standing there in front of him and coming in with his head down swinging. Quintana is not easy to hit, he has some of the best footwork ive seen. Hes got great footwork, good jab, slick southpaw, good skills, very good defense. Berto could offensively do anything he wanted against a guy like Estrada, put Quintana in there and its different. Did you see Joel Julio's offensive variety before he fought Quintana? He was blowing people out so impressively people were hyping him up to be the next big thing and going crazy about him. What happened? He couldnt get nothing done against Quintana. I think it will be the same case with Berto. Carlos Quintana is no joke.

Cotto applies more pressure but he does not hit harder than Berto.

i don't think he hits harder than berto bu the pressure too much for'em that what cotto did to a boxer i think he'll give el indio too much space to be outboxed.

Cotto probably does hit harder, but not by much. You could hear those punches by Berto all night and someone mentioned earlier that they were at the fight and they were sitting a ways away and could still hear his punches. I know Quintana would definitely not be a standing target like Estrada, but he's going to feel Berto's punches at some point especially that uppercut and who know's if he's really recovered from the Cotto fight. A fight with Berto next would prove if he has or not. If he's no joke he doesn't need another fight, he needs to fight Berto next.

Berto does not hit harder than Cotto. Are you guys kidding me? Just because you can hear the shots don't mean ****. Juan Diaz sounds like he hits hard as hell but his power actually isnt that good at all. Berto throws very sharp quick punches but there isnt that much power on them. Estrada was exhausted from the third round on last night, he lost because of condtioning not Berto's power.

BECAUSE HE HAS A 3 FIGHT DEAL AND BERTO IS THIRD! How many times do i need to tell you guys? Dio Mio. Just because you can hear punches dont mean nothing, again, watch Juan Diaz. Berto punches very sharp but there isnt much power behind them. He is going to feel Berto's punches at some point, you make it sound like he has one punch KO power. He would need to land A LOT if he wanted to wear down Quintana, and he doesnt have the right style of fghting to land a lot on Quintana. If he wins t would be by outboxing Quintana which could happen but i just dont see it.

Don't you think those punches that Estrada was taking wore him down. He was losing steam because Berto was taking it out of him. Yeah Berto may not have that one punch KO power, but his punches are still hard nonetheless. It's going to be a very interesting fight if it happens and when that time comes I will be willing to bet on it with you Fantasma.

Yea the punches wore him down, he was exhausted and taking punches for like 7 or 8 rounds he couldnt take it no more. Had that been Miguel Cotto in there fighting the same third round with Estrada. Estrada would have never seen the 4th, honestly, lets be realistic.

I will be waiting to make that bet my friend.
