i'm not saying it was rubbish, just not great. And definitely not a FOTY candidate.

I enjoyed, but its clearly been overrated.

It was a great fight, the intensity and drama level were very high, action was back and forth can't ask for much more. And then the fight ending in spectacular fashion.. well it did it for me.

You MAY be thinking of it in the wrong terms. Was it as explosive as a Pacman fight? No. But these are 160 pounders, the punchers are heavier, regardless of if both are at 16, the punches just have more of an affect. Also, it had intensity, explosiveness, a HUGE dramatic turn around. Both displayed nice skill, the winner had his scary moments, and the loser had a sudden defeat. Also, SOMEONE had to lose for the first time, and it was a champion who always had found a way to win. That's exciting in thought alone, it builds itself up and makes the fight fun to watch, regardless. It wasn't one of the greatest fights in middleweight history, but for how big of a fight it was, and how much build up it had, it lived up. And then some.

It wasn't fought at a high level, but it was exciting. I had a huge adrenaline rush which mixed with Stella does funny things.

If you compare it to, for instance, DLH-Mayweather, it was amateurish, but in many ways more satisfying.
