i remember everyone talkin that **** for the last year that pavlik is a nobody, well he did what winky, hopkins, and spinks could'nt, knocked taylors ass out, and put a stop to that points type of fighting taylor and mayweather are known for. PAVLIK IS ONE BAD ASS MUTHA****A.

Outcome was much as expected. Pavlik showed heart. But Taylor AS EXPECTED came nowhere near close to living up to the hype. Neither fighter showed the greatest of skills here.
It was a good fight between two of the top-players in a division that seems weaker than it's reputation suggests.
It was between two americans - so of course it'll gather alot of attention. But all these superlatives are completely out of order. Pavlik is NOT the face of boxing now (or at least he shouldn't be). He is in fact pretty ordinary when looking beyond the fact that he can ****. Let's see if he can even deal with the likes of AA before declaring him the second comming.

I couldn't believe my ****ing eyes in that second round. I thought for sure Pavlik was going to get put away for good but he somehow managed to survive and I KNEW that if he made it out of that round and regained his composure that he would win the fight. Pavlik getting up from that KD severely demoralized Taylor. The guy took his best shot and still kept coming at him like some type of machine. Taylor gave it his best try but Pavlik was just too much for him by the middle rounds and he did what others in the past have done against Pavlik and basically resigned to his fate.

BIG ****ING BALLS by Pavlik. That is some heroic **** right there being on wobbly legs like that and yet summoning the inner strength to come back and destroy Taylor like he did.....this guy is a ****ing star!!
