You really have to be impressed with this kid. Did he show a warriors spirit or what? It was ineveitable after the 3rd round that Pavlik was beginning to find his range. Taylor is good but it was obvious he was going to fall into bad habits. He looked great for a few rounds but fell back into his old habits of backing away straight and throwing the crooked right hand.

Pavlik is a huge star now. And deservedly so.

Pavlik is the same as he was before yesterday - a moderately skilled hardhitting fighter with a good chance of beating a severely overrated Taylor, should they fight again.
Both are good. Both belong at the top of their division. But that's all.

No there are underrated fighters - but not among the one's you mention. They've all had more than their fair share of hype. They then get even more (somewhat unwarranted) hype from fighting each other.

If you wanna find fighter's who are generally underrated - you need to look out of the circles where HBO and Showtime has their attention focussed. That would generally be outside USA
