I doubt it because I think he's a kid who will probally want big money fights and I think he loses to any guy he fights at 168 wether its Calzaghe, Kessler, Hopkins, Winky, Dawson, RJ, or whoever. Now if he just stays at 160 then you would probally be right since there isnt much comp there but I think he probally will go for the big fights instantly and those other guys are more purely skilled then Taylor & Miranda put together

I think Pavlik will be popular because he is an honest come to fight type boxer who can knock people out.

Slick boxers are great if you are a student of the sport but most of the general public are not therefore a fighter is judged on personality and excitability. Pavlik offers the nice guy approach with a vulnerable style behind knock out power.

He will be idolised.
