Taylor got out thunk by the smarter fighter, Pavlik. Pavlik will always be smarter than Taylor, the results wont change, nomatter how many times they fight.

        Everybody sees something different.

Taylor gave Pavlik the opportunity to knock him out repeatedly before Kelly actually did the deed.

Jermain stood there and let Pavlik knock him the **** out.

If Jermain Taylor cannot avoid getting hit no matter what - he should have never fought Kelly Pavlik.

            Eh.
Taylor fought well, and can fight better.
Hes the better fighter if you ask me.

Yeah No Doubt About It. He Has Been There For Quite A While And Defeated Some Big Names Out There. Pavlik Just Surprised Him. I Guess He Never Thought That Pavlik Was That Hard Of A Hitter. But I Am Really Impressed With Pavlik Because He Didnt Just Win The Fight He Knocked Out An Undefeated Champion Big Time And He Also Got Up From A Knock Down.

Respect to everyone who picked Pavlik.

He did exactly what his people expected him to do.

I think Jermain Taylor deserves an assist for making it so easy for Kelly Pavlik at the end though. Taylor gave that stoppage to Pavlik.

He was a sitting duck - and I personally called it when it was going on. Even when Pavlik got knocked down I believed Taylor was going to be in trouble. I literally stated that Pavlik could come back and knock Taylor out.

Again, credit to those who picked Pavlik. These fighters are our horses, and the Pavlik horse beat the field. I like that pick.

I'm also thrilled for Pavlik, his family, his fans, and the sport.

Taylor didn't deserve to be there - and I was disgusted well before it got stopped.

I was very impressed by him. I picked him to win but was unsure of my pick.

Thought it was going to end in round 2 but Taylor punched himself out and couldn't keep the pressure on (which is a good excuse for that round, but can't explain why he lost the fight 5 rounds later). The coming back from near certain defeat is what really impresses me about Pavlik. It showed a lot of heart and he recovered confidence in the next round like a champ.

That being said, I worry that he may be too predictable. I guess if you're mainly going to throw two punches though, it should be the "1, 2."

If I'm honest I haven't seen Pavlik that often but what I have seen is that although he may be limited in the skills department he is extremely strong, fit, determined and motivated.

Again from what I have seen he seems to rely on work rate behind stiff jabs and straight right hands but it is extremely effective and due to his power it keeps the watcher on the edge of his seat.

Whats nice is to see is a fighter who wants to take a title rather than nick it.

Pavlik could hold the belts for some time. Taylor will obviously have a say in this but will have to be at the top of his game to take back the belts.
