Some people just don't like to be hit

Don't make it more complicated that that. I even made a thread last week about how JT would react, as that no one had seen it yet and it was an unknown. There was no predicting this. Taylor doesn't like to get hit. We all knew this would be the first time he was hit, it was a matter of how he would react, he crawled into the corner. I gave him more credit in advance, as he seemed to deserve it.

There shouldn't be a rematch. Is going to decide between fights that getting hit is not so bad? It's easier to decide that when you're not in the middle of a fight with a big hitter.

Taylor already lost to Winky and B-Hop so it's not like he was really undefeated.

I give Pavlik his props but he is just as easy if not easier to hit than Taylor.

To be honest this thread is BS.............

What happened when pavlik got hit??? His legs went completely and if JT wasnt standing in front of him he would have fell flat on his face. He was hanging on to JT as he went down.

When JT got hit he was out the same way pavlik was. The only difference is that he still had the legs to stay up. He didnt "crawl into the corner", he got hit with a big punch and was stunned and was trying to defend himself the best he could.

I dont know if you actually saw the fight because Taylor was taking big hits all through the fight and still coming back. He wasnt really outclassed to be honest. Even Pavlik said he was taking his shots.

I don't think this is true at all. After Pavlik was knocked down in the 2nd round, he was practically picking off almost all of Taylor's punches with his gloves. Pavlik has a very, very underrated little defense going for him there and he needs to keep working on that so let this be a lesson to him.

Like Pavlik's corner said, he got caught with something ****** in the 2nd and was able to adjust after he shook off the effects. He should've never let Taylor catch him with that looping right hand that he got caught with and I don't believe that if they fight again, Taylor would be able to knock him down again as he did.

In a rematch I see Pavlik beating up the now traumatized Taylor even quicker and in an easier manner and the second time around, Pavlik won't let himself get caught with anything ******. The knockdown in the second will serve as a learning experience to him to tighten up his defense.

TBH i think taylor fought ****** he gave us an exciting fight but he isn't a slugger, he was just out to prove he could win in an exciting fashion but he would have been far better off boxing not standing toe to toe.

By the way I'm not referrring to when he actually was dropped, but to the steps back he took after the initial right hand. You could tell he had no fight in him, but also not enough sense to take a knee before he got killed.
