He's a shoo-in for Fighter OTY.

And going into this one, I didn't think it'd live up to Bell/Mormeck II.

I see it as a contender for FOY, but my vote still goes to Vasquez-Marquez II. Or, even I. Either. These two fights left trails of evidence of brutality: blood, swollen faces, broken nose...

I favor the rematch over the first fight only because there was one element of drama that the first meeting understandably lacked: Vasquez seeking revenge. After all, he had KD'd Marquez in the 3rd round of the first fight before he quit on his stool sufferring from breathing problems caused by a severely broken nose.

I also had found Pavlik-Miranda as a contender. But that certainly now pales in comparison to the fight we just saw.
