Great fight, Berto solidified his status as a contender, as well as showing a more mature fight game. I wonder if his decision to fight so much on the inside had to do with people's perception of his chin. He definitely made an effort to show his physical and mental toughness, even if it made the fight more difficult than it had to be. Good stuff for sure.

awesome fight, estrada seem to win the first minute of each round then get beat down the last 2 minutes of each round, good test for berto and he looked much improved and looked very p4p'ish lol in this fight.

id like to see him go to the body more though, i didnt see much of it in the first two rounds and even though he mixed it in after that i thought he wasnt doing it enough

With all those power shots thrown and taken, I was left wondering why it lasted so long!

Stubborn fellas, Berto and Estrada. Props to them!

It was a great fight. Berto showed his class of fighter and some balls, Estrada was a really game, fought like hell. Made for a really great fight.

I have never seen anyone that throws combinations as crisp fast and hard as Andre Berto. Its remarkable. He needs to work on his defense, because he exposed himself as having a weak chin. He was staggered several times in the fight.

Man Berto looked mean. See I picked him to win by UD.........but that uppercut right hand combo that finished Estrada off was nasty and the stoppage was quite surprising. I didn't think he'd be able to stop Estrada.

In the Rivera fight yes he showed the capacity to be flash floored, and didn't have the most impressive outing despite outworking him.

But I'd say Estrada is a step up from Rivera LMFAO. And Berto crippled him with body shots that muted his output in rounds where Estrada would lapse because of fatigue. This fight didn't really do more than reinforce that Berto can punch really hard, and consistent power is something he can hang his hat on. Because he wasn't in there with the slickest of guys by any means.........but ultra durable to an extent.

The jury is still out on how he'd handle a good pure boxer or boxer puncher.
