    Taylor/Pavlik analysis

I think Taylor is the better boxer; I thought Taylor should have won the fight, I thought Taylor left Pavlik of the hook in the second round. Saying all this, I think Pavlik is a great fighter who won the fight hands down. What I found about Taylor is that he has a very low boxing IQ, he is a very ****** fighter. He has all the tools to win against any fighter but he is extremely dumb. Everytime Pavlik put pressure on him; Taylor took refuge on the ropes, where he was unable to get out of the way of Pavlik punches. If Taylor got hit with the same punches in the middle of the ring, he would have gone down and then got up. When he was hurt, he took refuge in the corner where the ropes hold him up, and then it was over. I love Pavlik though, he is my favorite fighter right now after Cotto. But I felt Taylor should have won that fight.

What I meant is that if taylor was a smart fighter, he had all the tools to win the fight. However, Taylor has a low boxing IQ, and Pavlik won the fight without any controversy or any doubt. What I meant was that if Taylor used all his skills in a smart way, he is a better fighter than Pavlik.

i actually think pavlik outboxed taylor in the second half of the fight.. the last like 2 to 3 rounds..

im not saying hes an amazing boxer, but he does have above average skills.

Ohhh, yes, I a thought Pavlik's jab was equal if not better than Taylor's. I guess my main point is that Taylor has all the tools and skills to be the best middleweight in the game. But he just doesnt know how to use them. Taylor has a low IQ in the boxing game. What I am saying is that based on skill alone, Taylor should have won. But as we all have learned, skills aint everything.
