    Thank you Kelly Pavlik

What a fight, holy ****. Pavlik showed the heart of a champion tonight. In the second round all I could think of is this is just like Calzaghe vs Manfredo, young hot shot gets a chance at the title and gets slaughtered. Taylor I think shocked Pavlik, as he was the agressor early on. He started the fight landing that overhand right, which was like a statement, "I wasn't kidding when i said I came here to fight." I thought Pavlik was done, he had no legs under him, I am shocked he didn't go down a second time. I knew if Pavlik could recover he might be able to win some rounds, but I couldn't belive the way he set up Taylor in the 7th. It reminded me of the Zertuche fight, sets him up with the jabs and ****, huge overhand right. I gotta give Taylor credit, Manny trained him great for this fight and he was in top form. This version of Taylor I think would have dominated any other middle weight, but Pavlik is a Beast. Fight of the year.

I agree Pavlik showed great heart and slowly got the chance he needed and took advantage. I didn't think Taylor fought badly he just came up against a true MW that could punch.

Pavlik just looked so good and had so much heart. Even when Taylor is looking good in the ring Pavlik doesn't look even close to out or defeated. Amazing fight.

My roomates aren't even in to boxing, they were upstairs watching some college football game. I was screaming so loud they came down to see what was up and theyall crowded around the tv in awe. I had the fight on DVR so we watched it again and they couldn't believe that Pavlik was able to come back like that. This is what boxing is all about.

Fight of the year, I agree. Will be replaced by Cotto vs. Mosley, though!

                  I'm happy for Pavlik, though.

So does this fight make Miranda look less bad when he lost to Pavlik?
