He's in the running for sure.
Maybe it's just me... but I feel like he's the easy frontrunner, in terms of EXPECTANCY.

He did what wasn't expected of him. All these other guys- namely Floyd and Miguel- wouldn't be shaking up the scene as much, with their wins.

Its between Pavlik and Floyd,if Floyd massacres Hatton he might win,but i think Pavlik will take it,some people where disappointed with The World Awaits ( i wasnt )
No one was disappointed with Pavliks fights,he knocked out a feared Miranda and was a big underdog, and he knocked the Undisputed Middleweight champ of the world out cold

Pavlik has scored 3 BRUTAL knockouts on his way to winning the title, against Zertuche,Miranda and Taylor, they where all devastating, its hard to watch any of them,he definatly might win

        IMO, yes.

        1. he KDs and KOs zertuche (who never before was KDd or KOd).
        2. he gave us a great fight with a stunning upset of miranda (the guy every1 said was unstoppable).
        3. he knocks out the middleweight champion.

i think he gets the fight of the year (with miranda) and fighter of the year.
