    Taylor gave the fight away

Taylor started superbly and dominated Pavlik and was on his way to a easy points victory, catching him with hard punches. He caught Pavlik flush many times and he used Manny Steward's plan to bombard Pavlik early on for the knock out win, which nearly paid off.

Pavlik for the first 6 rounds struggled to land his big right hand and appeared wild and sloppy. He started to look a bit like Miranda and one dimensional. However he finally landed the big right hand in the 7th round which rocked Taylor.

The fight contract has a rematch clause, so we can expect the 2nd fight in early 2008.

Rubbish. Taylor was the one who looked wild to begin with. Taylor fought well but there is no way that he should have been winning easily.

Taylor didn't give **** away-He couldn't finish. That aint giving it away, thats not being able to finish.

What was interesting was the Knockdown happened when pavlick was trying to talk **** to Taylor. Pavlicks whole stance changed and he went to work after that, no more bull**** bravado.

Taylor has pop, but he couldn't get away from pavlicks jab. He was out manned, out gunned and beat up, the rematch will be the same!

For a start it wasn't an "easy points victory" for Taylor. Pavlik was too effective and too aggressive, he controlled where the fight was fought and he landed more punches. Pavlik was fortunate in recovering from the second round knockdown, but Taylor did not look like a man who was chomping at the bit for a rematch. He looked like a man who was glad to be out of it.

Taylor wasnt winning easily,i actually had it a 3-3 in round 7 ( with Taylor a point ahead because of the KD ) Then POW,Pavlik knocks him out,it was close

And at the end of round 6 u could tell Jermain was getting tired,Pavlik was busting his face with nice jabs

Pavlik................his time is now, I see him being in big exciting fights and helping boxing grow even larger, he seriously made a believer out of me. The rematch will be a good one for sure.
