I don't think Taylor has regressed...you have to consider his opposition for such a flawed and young fighter...

Bernard Hopkins (defensive, experienced, HOFer, #1 p4p)
Bernard Hopkins (defensive, experienced, HOFer, #1 p4p)
Winky Wright (defensive, experienced, HOFer, top 3 P4P)
Kassim Ouma (tough, southpaw, former champion, a tough "easy" defense)
Cory Spinks (skilled, slick southpaw, hard to look good against, former undisputed WW champion, current jr mw title holder)
Kelly Pavlik (young, hungry, tough, undefeated, hard punching, skilled, bigger MW)

And Taylor just tried to roll his shoulder up all night. It was very ****** of him.

I'm pretty positive this is the best Taylor we will ever see. He's been under Steward's wing long enough to know that he has to keep his hands up and not back up. If he's still doing it now, he's always going to do it.

DId you see the pre-fight documentary?

The clips of Jermaine's sparruing in the AM days showed no difference between his current style.
