If anything, Taylor showed improvement in this fight compared to his fight with Winky...he fought himself off of the ropes instead of staying there...plus he used his jab and movement...

he is a very flawed fighter, but more than makes up for it in his desire to improve and desire to fight

I believe Taylor's peak was beating Hopkin's. It will never get better than that. He will never be a truly elite pound for pound fighter. Too many flaws in his offense and defense. His focus may be his real true problem. If having Manny Steward in your face screaming and begging you to step up the pressure against a fighter(Spinks) who has almost NO power can't get you fired up or focused than you are truly flawed.
