I don't think Steward's training is going to diminish Taylor's skills.

In fact if he's smart, he'd only add to Taylor's aggressiveness while helping him establish the jab more.

The jab should be the neutralizer in this fight.

I think it made a big difference in Wlad's recent wins.

It's not big secret that I think Taylor's ticket to victory is jabbing like hell, showing the great jab he's supposed to have and moving effectively. He'd keep Pavlik off balance with it and the rest of his offense comes from his jab, it makes his opponent defensive and gives him the range he needs to land his power punches.

Taylor really is a basic jab right hand fighter, I havn't seen his jab show up in a long time though and when it doesn't he's all ****ed up in there.

You're right!, I don't hate Manny but believe he's the wrong trainer for Taylor. He should have stayed with Pat Burns. I agree, Steward has "pussified" Taylor and one (Pavlik) punch will end the fight. If it goes to the score cards Taylor gets another gift!..NOT
