It's when they get deep that I'm not sure Barrera will be able to keep up. I mean, Barrera is training in Mexico so he can be near his family and he already said this is his last mega-fight. He also said he'd been thinking of retiring for a long time. I think there is a chance this is his cash-out fight, retirement fund.

do you remeber the score against juarez in the second fight???? 2 judges had it 115-113 for barrera...judges hate pitter-patter.....if he manages to survive throwing those awful punches, hes gonna get robbed.......the junior jones rematch is barrera at his boxing best....and he won easy.......the judges were just ****** as ****.....you can make a case for barrera winning 10 rounds of that fight.....nly becuase jones threw a looooooooooooooooooooooot is why people think it was close and because HBO was on his nuts.....

But i honestly belive Barrera will either go out on his sheild or win. No, way! he doesn what Morales did no way, even though i would like him to win even if he has to box to win, it would be baddass to see him just swing punchs like he used to do, with a care in the world and just go toe to toe with pacquiao would be great, last man standing.

But the second that Barrera started getting clocked down the stretch, he wasn't willing to take the necessary chances to win. I don't think Barrera was ready for the rematch, he didn't get his confidence up.

I don't think Barrera was boxing at his best in the Jones fight, i think that could be his fight against Hamed he put on a clinic and when he put him on the ropes, CLASSIC!
I think his confidence was there is was just his unwillingness to exchange punchs with Jones that cost him the fight.
hamed was flat as **** and didnt even know how to put pressure....thats not the best barrera.........the jones fight, let me put it like this.....i know their ****ed up sometimes but overall theyre not that far from the truth:
jones threw like 1100 punces in the rematch.........landed like 180......
barrera threw 650...landed 320...
when you have a guy putting pressure, throwing more than youo and tyoure still blocking and evading the vast majority of punches, while landing the better shots, thats the mark of a good boxer IMO, not beating an stationary target who cant even adjust....
i cant see how the first morales fight is so controversial...this fight is 10 times worse IMO....

Hamed in a way screwed himself, he didn't take the neccasary chances to force Barrera to brawl.
