Yeah he was a boxer puncher, he had some serious pop at that weight, if he could still stay at it I think he would have dominated and most of the guys here now wouldn't even be known.

I actually watched that fight about a month ago. It was a good fight but he was still a really defensive fighter.

I mean, really, boys. Floyd has (I would say had but lets see how he responds to hatton's pressure) the potential to be an extremely offensive fighter. he is great at mixing both parts of boxing and dominating opponents but if he fought like say, Terry Norris, he would be a huge star. Huge. Maybe his chin is made of glass. Who knows.

Its not made of glass , Corley and ODH caught him good and he took them well , actually Collazo hurt Ricky with a lot less than what Floyd took from those two .

You havent seen Terry Norris fight have you? I wasn't making a styles comparison...just making a point about the excitement level of a Floyd Mayweather Jr fight vs. a Terry Norris fight.

Terry Norris is one of my fav's of all time, but I am biased anyways.

That is not just in the case of Terry Norris.

Floyd hella had power at 130... he had a damn good KO ratio at 130... around 75% from my calculations earlier (when I was bored, judging debate).

The most impressive thing about that fight: Roberto Apodaca landed two whole punches.

Remember that that was before Floyd's hand problems. According to Manny Steward and many who followed the amateur ranks closely, Sugar Ray Leonard was the same way, he was considered a very deadly puncher with both hands as an amateur, but the hand problems took away alot of his power.
