According to Shane Shane a lie detector test was administered to him where he answered questions regarding his involvement with BALCO. What we know as fact is that he never failed a steroid test and also passed a lie dector (polygraph)test therefore anyone saying he is guilty of using steroids has absolutely no proof.

Fact: In 2003, post De La Hoya-Mosley ll, Balco was under investigation for its role in steroid distribution. Mosleys name surfaced as a person of interest when Professional Athletes as well as himself were implicated in taking the "Clear" and the "Cream" supplements, unbeknownst to many, a form of steroid. These were given to mosley to aid with weight gain to make the 154lb limit. Mosley has since been cleared of any wrongdoing during that ordeal. In a prior interview Mosley stated that the "Drug" did more harm than good. He stated that he was unable to keep his energy level up in the
2nd match with De La Hoya. And if the Die-hard Boxing fans followed Mosleys career, they woul know that Stamina has always been one of his greatest assets.
Fact: Steroids cannot help you sustain endurance over the course of a twelve round fight.

The idea that Shane didn't know EXACTLY what he was doing is PURE FANTASY.

Anyone who tells you that "Shane was cleared of any wrongdoing" is misleading you. The Fed prosecutors were not prosecuting the users. They granted immunity if the clients came forward.
