For real though, this will be the true test for Donaire in prooving that Darchinyan was not just a fluke... I was hoping Penalosa would fight Arce but Arce has stated no more south paws for him... Penalosa would beat Arce hands down... Donaire vs. Arce would be a toss up for me...

Donaire is from san leandro up here and i know where he trains, so i cant hate on him, to be honest, Arce is going to have a problem, unlike Bumtista, Donaire isnt relying on power, he moves well, and boxes well, and arce cant handle guys who can move and punch, we both know that. Mijares battered him around the ring, Donaire could end up doing the same

Yeah I met him when Philippine team battered Mexico in da World Cup.....LOL (And yeah when Boom got KTFO). Cool guy. He says he (and his brother?) also reads some posts here at boxingscene. Since then we've exchange text messages. I might call him when he KO's Arce to congratulate him......LOL.

This is really a hard fight to pick.I think it can go either way.Arce has the experience and good power.Donaire has good skills and power.It also depends what weight class they fight in.It would really benefit Arce if they fight at 112 where Donaire has the belt(that's if Arce can still make112)At that weight arce had great power and energy.Every single fight he fought at that weight he ended in K.O/T.K.Oand I mean every fight.Lately in the higher weights he has looked like ****.So if they fight at the higher weights Donaire has the advantege.It's a pick'em fight but I am slightly leaning towards Donaire.

I wish Arce could win this fight but he can't... Donaire is going to make Arce look like ****. This fight doesn't even make any sense, Arce vs Vic makes more sense then the guy who embarrassed Vic. Vic would give Arce problems, can you imagine what Donaire is going to do to him

He's more of a brawler though, while Donaire is more of a boxer. I'd pick the boxer over the brawler any day. Donaire's defense is going to be top-notch while I know arce's defense is probably going to be pretty lousy like it normally is.

its not that, Donaire is bigger than him and is a superior boxer all around, Donaire will move laterally and do exactly what mijares did to him, its not that arce has no chance, its just his style isnt suited for donaire.
