I am actually Happier with McCline-Peter then Maskaev-Peter

An in shape McCline is a tough guy to beat. Surely he keeps things competitive, even if he loses every round.

He can be exciting too, and he can take a good punch. I think this is an entertaining heavyweight fight. Maskaev-Peter had 3 Round BLOWOUT written all over it IMO.

I see what you mean; I disagree as Maskaev is a good boxer with a big punch, but it's in any case not much worse

Easy on this, McCline is just not mentally strong enough.

You may be right Kball but, I would've liked to see Peter win the WBC hw title rather than an interim one. Knowing Maskaev and his promoters, 2008 might be a repeat of 2007 in terms of delays and fruitless negotiations...

hopefully not, 2007 hasn't been good for heavyweights at ****in all. Anyway Maskaev would've been out within 5 rounds but McCline could last awhile. McCline has to absorb his power and wait to the final rounds if he wants any chance of winning.

I wanted to see The nightmare become Champion, but Mccline should be a good test.
