    Remember Nunn v Toney

In 1991 two undefeated middleweights met to slug it out (the only other time in history that two "undefeated" fighters met for the middleweight title). Nunn had been in the ring with EVERYONE who was ANYONE (five of his six prior fights being against current or former title holders), and Toney's resume looked like a relative bunch of no-bodies. Well the man without a resume made history and is now heading for the Hall of Fame. Toney won by an 11th round TKO when SERIOUSLY losing on all the scoprecards. I bet Toney then and I'm betting Pavlik now. I had no hatred for Nunn then and I hold no hatred for Taylor now. I just know a fighter who is peaking when I see one.

Thanx for the "back". I'll be in Section 205 -- give a shout out to the Old Yank. If I can hear you over the Pavlik fans, I promise I'll respond.

I respect Jermain Taylor alot. He always say he will fight anyway it does not matter. he wanted to fight winky crying ass again, but the money was not right on winky side. he wanted to fight joe ''never can get a far fight if u fight him'' calazage, but joe said he aint want to fight him cause he not ready, 6months later he wants to fight him. ouma and spinks he fought them cause they where out there wanting to fight. Taylor is a true champ, ahd when he beats kelly, on to joe at 168 and who ever else want some of jermain taylor

Taylor has proven he is a real champion. He hasn't ducked anybody, and he has been fighting the best in his division. Hopkins, Wright and Pavlik are better fighters than the most accomplished boxers Hopkins ever defeated when he was the middleweight titlist; the two best were the beefed up welterweights Felix Trinidad and the aging Oscar De La Hoya.

^^Hopkins can't add himself to his own resume, he beat Wright and is older than De La Hoya.. The writer is a pencil-****..
