So for example, Chagaev, he's about 6'1 or 6'2 i think, he's undefeated, has just beaten a fighter with almost a foot advantage, who was in the brink of breaking marciano's record. You wouldn't call Chagaev a top fighter?

No. I consider Chagaev a promising prospect but not a top fighter YET. I believe he will be in time though. He's one of the few Eastern-Euro's I have any regard for.

I guess that's valid, but to call them frauds is downright ******.

Valuev = fraud, Wlad = fraud, Maskaev = fraud, Ibragimov = fraud until proven otherwise.

Yea I guess so, he just doesn't understand the hard work it takes to be world champion.

By the way love that RJJ-Toney signature.

You are the biggest racist hater I have seen on this board. If this is the way you think than you must also agree that Mike Tyson was a FRAUD.

As for the Eastern-Euros I consider them guilty until proven innocent. They have to PROVE they aren't frauds and so far the only one to pass the smell test is Vitali Klitschko and he can't stay healthy enought to even get to a boxing ring.

Good post with the Vitali reference. But, calling them a "fraud" is a little much. The word "unproven" is probably more accurate. And, with regard to Wladimere (sp ?) Klitschko; his chin is glass. He can run from it, but he can't hide. Eventually he will get caught again.

That's something that I hate and love about Wlad. He has a class chin, which means he is vulnerable to decent punchers. On the other hand, the opponents he beat, he dominated, which I think shows that even though he has a glass chin, he has a lot of skill by protecting it with his jab.

Yes...his whole game is designed to protect that chin. It makes it very hard to have confidence in him as a dominant champion.
