Calderon to return in December?

WBO 108lb champion Ivan Calderon of Puerto Rico may return to the ring in December. Promoter PR Best Boxing looking into unification fights for the "Iron Boy." Possible fights with IBF champion Ulises "Archie" Solis, WBC champion Edgar Sosa and WBA champion Juan Carlos Revecco are being explored with any of these fighters considered to be a serious top-level opponent. Sosa and Solis are both are under the promotional seal of Top Rank. For now, the plans of Calderon do not include a rematch with former champion Hugo Cazares, whom he beat by split decision in August.

i think solis would be the main thread for calderon solis already beat twice sosa and even thou he lost to dieppa he's a good fighter and it would be a good match up.

yeah i think cazares was more skilled than sosa but i also think solis can beat him if they dont fight in PR

Maybe Cazares is the stronger, more accomplished fighter, but with the little ive seen of both guys Sosa seems liek the better fighter.

Certainly more technically sound, Calderon wouldnt be able to bob and weave as spectacularly as he did against Cazares.

I REALLY hope he picks Sosa. That would be an AMAZING AMAZING fight. it should be on HBO BAD.

It would so over the top. Like the most rediculously elusive fighter in the game, and the biggest blood and guts warrior of the division and below, facing off. what a fight that would be

alleged robberies my friend, sosa was a taxi driver low profile boxer back then, while archie was a prospect with a known trainer and boxing was his priority....

but i think solis may be a bigger threat because of his punching power....sosa is a better fighter though...

I think Ulises Solis is better than Sosa and possibly even Cazares. Thats the fight I want to see, Calderon-Solis. I dont think Sosa is anything special.

SOSA team don't want a fight with calderon yet they said he's not ready so i guess it would be calderon-solis in 08.
