This is the first I have seen this thread. I have to say I am disappointed with the hatred shown towards our Mexican brothers.

From what I know of Mexican's, they are a very proud people and their warriors kick ass in the ring. Some of you with your blind bigotry in here simply do not belong.

The bigotry in this place really should be clamped down on. It shines a bad light on these forums and the sport we all love.

You don't find it offensive that the thread creator is basically saying that Kelly Pavlik isn't good enough being Kelly Pavlik... he is being moved up to the ultimate honor, being a Mexican, basically placing his actual race (white) on an inferior level.

I certainly find this thread to be overly offensive, which is why I shot my mouth off with some bigoted comments... although they were meant only for the thread creator.

Since I typed that, I have learned to ignore it instead, so, on my part at least, there won't be any more bigotry.

i have to say that pavlik is the first true warrior we have seen from america in a long time. he has power. he dont run from nobody. he is always coming forward trying to make the fight exciting for the fans and he always goes for the knockout. he has a very high knockout rate.

pavlik reminds me of a white antonio margarito. he has earned the respect of the mexican fans and we will be cheering for him to beat taylor. taylor fights like a businessman and we dont need those kind of fighters in boxing. we need fighters who are proud warriors and fight like mexican fighters. that is the type of fighters that make this sport exciting!!!

lol @ the idea that germany was almost defeated when america entered the war. by no means was germany defeated or almost defeated, if that was the case, why was the liberation of france, and the defense of the united kingdom so critical? americas contribution to WW2 was absolutely critical for western europe, we brought excellent logistical support, intelligence as well as manpower. Just to point out Pavlik is Slovakian American, his town is highly populated by Slovakian immigrants. Slovakia was part of the Former Czechoslovakia.
