WBC super bantamweight world champion Israel "Magnifico" Vazquez traveled to Mexico City with manager Frank Espinoza where he was presented with the gold and green WBC belt by the sanctioning body’s president Jose Sulaiman. Vazquez regained his belt with a stoppage of Rafael Marquez in what is so far being given serious consideration for the fight of the year.
