Born Francisco Guilledo, "Villa" is considered by many to be the greatest Asian fighter of all time. He is best known for his violent seventh round knockout of the legendary Jimmy Wilde in 1923. Villa’s career was tragically cut short when he died suddenly due to a throat infection in 1925 at the age of 23.
