Will Barrera Engage with Pacman in the Early Rounds?

An interview with Pacquiao's training camp reveal that Manny will have to go for the early KO. The team said they cannot afford to have the game decided by the judges which they believe is the only way Barrera could win.

Knowing this strategy, will Marco answer the early barrage that is waiting for him or will he turn the Mandalay Bay boxing ring into Wembley Stadium?

controlled aggression is whate he does best, his boxing sometimes sucks in terms of landing real punches and while that may keep pac offbalance for some time, sooner or later he's gonna run out of steam, and slowly but noticeably slow down.....and pac is gonna catch him.....so i would say he needs to box, but mix a lot of body attack, and pac is bad at close quarters, he only throws fast arm punches inside.......barrera is also very good at blocking instinctively, so i think he could do ggod if he doesnt get caught and he has a chance....but im sure hell try to box all the time and that will be his downfall.......

    Pac TKO 8

Barrera will try to box for the first few rounds, hoping to get a points lead, and he'll do this as long as possible until Pac catches him with something hard, and then he'll have to abandon ship and hope Pac is too tired to steamroll him.

I think MAB will be more competitive than Morales was in the third fight, but it will probably look alot like the second Morales fight, where Barrera will have some moments early in the fight but around round 4 or 5, Pac will start to overwhelm him.

      Pac TKO8 Barrera.

I believe Barrera is still very confident with his boxing skills and will still try to outbox Pacquiao.

I think Marco is truly treating this as his very last fight, or at least his last significant fight. I think he'll give it his all early, but once he finds it's not enough, will eventually find a soft spot on the canvas to lie down on and call it a career.

he needs to box box box, just like marquez did..

he needs to make pac miss, and then counter the best he ever learned..

when rounds are close, he needs to flurry, and try to steal rounds, because pac is goin to be the agressor, he´s gonna land the harder shots, so barrera is going to need every trick in the book, to convince the judges, that he is in control.

personally i think barrera is going to drop the macho attitude in the beginning, a slufest will just play right into pacs advantages, so barrera will need to set the fight on his terms and even more important, be the one, who sets the pace..

He's going to engage early imo because he's not fast enough to sit back and try to counter Pac. He found that in the last fight. Everytime Pac threw first, Barrera was overwhelmed by the speed. His only way to win is to keep the jab going, and work the body. He needs to have the stamina he had in the third Morales fight. He needs to be prepared for hell, simple as that...

I think that MAB will try to slug it out in the beggining.Everyone knows that he tends to run out of gas, so his best strategy is to get an early start before he fades.

IMO Pacman will unleash some big blows in the first 2 rounds which will soften as the fight progresses, if Marco ever gets to dodge it. Insiders say theyre cooking up some technique in the middle rounds if Barrera starts to respond.

Mabs not a ****** fighter or a fast starter. He'll just wait on pacquioa early on, slip and slide and then turn on the heat later on.

Look how foolish a rushing pacquia came at Solis, expect the same thing the early round, expect Barrera will seal the deal.
