Did anyone else read about Jermain Taylor now calling himself the "Junkyard Dog" ?
I thought "Bad Intentions" made sense, although he'd be a far better fighter if he followed through on his intentions.
Jermain Taylor doesn't even know how to hype a fight up. You know Emmanuel Steward is praying he doesn't have to eat his words when Jermain Taylor decides not to listen to his instructions.. yet again.
My prediction is that after 2 rounds Taylor is going to realize he's in a real fight after feeling Pavlik's power. He's going to realize that beating Corey Spinks on the scorecards is a completely different experience. At that point, he might just escape with his belts if he listens to Steward's instructions.
I really think that Steward is Taylor's only hope. What are the odds on Jermain actually listening ? Those are probably the same odds on JT winning this fight.
So.... I'm picking Pavlik within 8 rounds via TKO. Ain't gonna be no scorecards to discuss, this is going to be decisive.
