    Natural talent vs Fundamentals

was reading the "Whitaker vs Floyd .. who's more of a complete fighter"

and the 2 things in the title came up quite a bit

so I just want to touch on those 2 ... because its very obvious that having good fundamentals (textbook jab, combinations, not sticking chin out).. and having natural talent (power, reflexes) are 2 different areas

with that in mind ... who are some of the best naturally talented boxers?

and who are some of the best boxers with the best fundamentals?

aight here's a question boxing related ... Im dead serious with this so rip away

are boxers taught how to slip punches ... like is that at all used in boxing training?

just wondering? because obviously some boxers have quicker reflexes and therefor more able to slip a punch.

you cant say natural talent every boxer is naturally talented else they wouldnt be boxing...roy jones wasnt born with a killer left hook it took training and good fundamentals to get him how he is today.. he just trains harder that why... it isnt natural.. you cant say someone is natural and some one isnt you cant prove to me that oscar has no natural talent and all fundamentals

but no body can just be a boxer relying on all natural talent you have to train and get good fundamentals

              AND

you need to take napolian out and put, trunks or someone in your sig

Agreed. And, Roy was fundamentally sound too. lol What's with these guys stating that greats like Ali and Roy were not fundamentally sound? Ridiculous.

I gotta change it out in a few,my sig that is. Also yeah thats true(on your first part)but the natural talent is still there. You're already ahead of the guy that could of started at the same time you did.

and already being ahead of the guy would be because you have more natural talent

but true, nobody a "born" boxer .. to learn all the basics and skills does take time .. some learn quicker
