What u think the big hitting middle wieght could of been if he hadnt of got owned by nigel benn? i think he took a knee and some head butts that stopped him but it was accidental.
He became 80% deaf,blind,was in a coma for a while,suffered extensive brain damage,the ability to walk and his short-term memory was also profoundly affected.
WOW all this damage in 1 fight? geeez nigel rearly was the dark destroyer this shows what can happen if you dont protect urself well in the ring and also shows any1 has guts if they step in the ring.

the rabbit punches probably contributed to the blood clot.

anyway, he was good but people overrate him. he was a true beneficiary of the day before weigh-in, as he was a huge middleweight. he beat a smaller julian jackson twice.

he was a hard hitter and tough, it's hard 2 tell how good he could have been

Excellent boxer, not great but excellent. Nasty piece of work. A walking (well, not) advert for karma. Still terribly sad what happened to him and that fight with Benn is probably top of my most memorable boxing moments, although sadly for totally the wrong reasons.

I was fairly mad after watching that fight, there were a lot of hard rabbit punches and the ref did nothing about them. Was really mad after hearing what happened to him afterwards. Bad guy or not nobody deserves that brought on them.
