Floyd: I need your support!
"I need the support of all of my boxing fans so please tune in, call-in and vote for me," says WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather, who will make his first live appearance tonight dancing the cha-cha on ABC's 'Dancing With The Stars' (8PM ET/PT). "I am ready to dance my way to greatness and show everyone I am multi-dimensional, have natural rhythm and talent and will perform on the show like I perform in the ring." Mayweather, who will be tonight's second dancer, will have a busy schedule in the coming months in dividing his time between practicing for the show and training for his December 8 fight against Ricky Hatton. "I am ready for the challenge," said Floyd. "I work out two to three times a day anyway so the dancing practice will only add to my overall preparation for the fight." 'Dancing With the Stars' contestants are judged and scored by a panel of three experts and then voted on by the television audience, which is estimated to be more than 35 million viewers.
