Did they watch even one video of de la hoya in his prime? You have to agree that his big money fights came after his peak, but at his prime he was amazingly skillful and talented. Not to mention what he means to the sport and to recognition of talent at the lower weight classes, and all the athletes that have faced him and made a good living.

Mike Tyson #2, is this a joke? So what if there are ten heavyweights over Mike, how does that make him overrated? Worst article ever.

Don't go by that article thats not what aired. I'm trying to find a link to it, it just aired thou... Tyson was not on top 20.... Things like the Atlanta Braves, Bill Buckners missed ball were part of most over-rated.

Mike tyson, second overrated ? not as good as larry holmes, marciano, gene tuney... man maybe he was not the best heavyweight, but in his prime he was a monster... People like too get nostalgic and bring up old fighters, they didn't even bring lennox lewis in the list, that prooves that the writer is an old fool

There are other boxers or athletes that could be on that list before either De La Hoya or Tyson. This is hard to believe.

I dont think that its about being "overrated" with Oscar. I think people are confusing fame with accomplishments. I for one know that Oscar has lost mostly all of his MAJOR fights, but he was a big hit because of his looks and charisma. The casual fans (especially the women) knew who the "Golden Boy" was. I respect his resume, and his numerous attempts to take on the best in the world.

If Tyson was in fact at Number 2 its the craziest thing i have ever heard.. in accomplishments he achived more than any other boxer. When people see greatness they just keep asking for more and more..
