Castillo: "Hatton Has No Chance Of Beating Mayweather"
Collapse

I don't like using the word "champion". I prefer "title holder". For example Gatti was a title holder at 140 lbs. Baldomir was champion at 147. Hatton is champ at 140 and Mayweather is champ at 147 now, so this is a great matchup.Comment

You think PBFs win over Castillo was more impressive than Hattons win over Castillo. You then said Foremans wins over Frazier and Norton were more impressive than Ali over the same 2 guys, yet Ali beat Foreman. So my mistake is that i thought that you thought just because PBFs win over Castillo was more impressive it didnt mean that PBF would beat Hatton.Last edited by hugh grant; 09-24-2007, 08:40 PM.Comment

99.9% of stuff that comes out of Frank Warren's mouth is horse plop! That's probably the main reason why Hatton had enough of him and broke out?
And Floyd is already making the excuse that he "likes big money" as a reason not fight the winner of Cotto/Mosley..Comment

Last Summer?
When was the last Summer in the US?
Mosley declined to fight Floyd in December because he'd already planned to take a break from boxing BEFORE his second fight with Vargas, he also countered any offers by saying he'll fight anybody in February, which he did, Collazo.
Floyd was bickering saying how Mosley had ducked him for years, Mosley told the press he was willing to fight Floyd, Floyd turned him down, Floyd fought Oscar instead.
Who was ducking who?
Make your minds up from that, but from what I'm reading, it's a case of Floyd abusing his P4P #1 status by letting nobody but him call the shots.Comment

[QUOTE]Hatton hits harder and is faster then Castillo at Castillo's prime in my opinion.[/QUOTE
Castillo beat more than one guy (particularly Corrales) who hit harder and were faster than him. So what? Doesn't make Hatton better prime for prime.
Castillo's resume speaks for itself.
Either way I hope Hatton wins vs Floyd.Comment
