Anyone remember De La Hoya/Mayweather 24/7? Floyd threw like 8,800 some punches in a day... talk about exhaustion for most people, but he just proceeded to do some electric slide afterwards.

so because you heard it out of Floyd or one of his goon's mouths it's all of a sudden true? We don't truly know who actually trains harder but I have seen clips of both and they are both animals.

However, in Mayweather's recent fights he is pitty-pattying his way to victor. Hatton is an intense, pressure fighter and surely that takes a lot more stamina then what Floyd has been doing at the moment.

      Both beasts though.

Hattons training will be much more intense than floyds surely?? ive seen hattons training but ive never seen any of floyds training footage. I just think hatton will have more gas for the fight.

Floyd throws a lot when he's training but he doesn't seem to continue his high output in the actual fights. You wouldn't think if you watch him train. Bu thten you have Cotto who looks nostalgic when he spars, backing up and working on his defense. Come fight night though...

Well, OTHER fighters have said how highly conditioned he is.

              I saw this article...http://www.********boxing.com/news.php?p=5149&more=1

Also, Larry Merchant said that PBf spars fro 15 minute rounds, and rotates sparring partners in and out. Corley said the same.

              I didn't realize that PBF's fitness was a question.

That is a great point. On 24/7, you saw floyd thro 6000 punches in a session. And then he throws 450-500 on fight night... like clockwork.

You would almostthink that he would be more like an Ouma or P Dub with 1000 punches.

PBF was a puncher at 130-140. So it made sense for him to have the low output. It is odd that he is able to stay at that pace against the big boys.

And hatton made a great point. He said nothing is more tiring than "hitting fresh air". With hatton being less of a sharpshooter, I would think that Ricky is also highly conditioned.

                    SPARRING PARTNERS

Hatton will be using Steve Forbes.

Mayweather will be using Lovemore N'Dou....and some of his usual guys.

Who else have you heard about?

Many people will look at Steve Forbes and think 'WTF' but I actually think he is a pretty good fighter. Very slick and should be a good partner for Hatton.

N'Dou, though? Seems like a little bit of a conflict of styles (between Hatton and N'Dou) to me. N'Dou is very limited IMHO compared to Hatton.
