He is the one that said his resume was just as good or he fought very good fighters, not us, HIM.Comment

I personally think Tony Pep is Mayweather's best performance as a fighter. That fight embodies everything that Floyd is as a fighter. He worked his defense, he worked his offense, he pressured, he ran, he flurried. When he got hit he came back guns blazing, Barrera style.
If you want to study Floyd Mayweather, watch the Tony Pep fight. The Mayweather that fought Pep was unbeatable.Comment

Mayweather is a good fighter but didn't look at his best against Zab or Oscar, or Sharmba for that matter, and Baldo was a 170lb pedestrian journeymanComment

Well... you shouldn't watch that fight if you want to study what Mayweather looks like now.I personally think Tony Pep is Mayweather's best performance as a fighter. That was when he was still fighting under his defensive minded daddy.
Now he fights differently because Roger stresses offense more, and that is what Floyd does (when he isn't outweight by 20 pounds on fight night).Comment

Hatton says: "Floyd must be forgetting that I was fighting the Freddie Pendleton's and Vince Phillips's in my early 20's"
Freddie Pendleton: 47-25-5, 38 years old.
Vince Phillips: 44-7-1, 40 years old
