    Guzman/Marquez/Cotto/Corrales

I was sitting here thinking about how these fighters will do when they move up and when they'll actually make the jump.

I really want to see Guzman make the jump and possibly take on someone like Pac or Larios in the future.

I think Cotto should fight Hatton and then Gatti and make the jump. He should support 147 nicely and I'd love to see him go after Spinksy in the future.

Corrales should move up to 140 comfortably as he has the frame and power for it. The only thing that concerns me about him moving to 140 is his speed. He seems a little on the sluggish side and it could give him trouble.

What do you think about these fighters jumping up in weight? Who will succeed and who should they take on when they move up.

i would much rather see Cotto stick around at Light-welter, i think he can keep the weight off and fight a lot more interesting fights at the weight.

Maybe take one trip up to welter for spinks.

I think they will all fair well moving up.
Corrales should of been at 140 since his debut. I not to worried about speed with Diego because I have never seen him a that quick of a fighter.
Guzman should do good with a move up. He has the power and looks to be strong but I really haven't had a chance to watch him fight.
I'm telling you Cotto will be a certified junior middleweight before he is done. He already has a too much trouble making 140 at times and should be moving up to 147 in a couple of more years. He's strong and has very good power though he needs to learn to use his right hand more and not just look to throw his lefthook all the time. The right hand is killer and once he learns to use it more he will look even better. Cotto is the truth and I have never said that about any fighter before.

I would love to see that fight PACMAN vs GUZMAN, but after Manny's date with destiny against the 3 Ms (Morales, Marquez & Marco)and the WBC (Injin) & WBO (Scott) featherweight champions......
