he couldnt knock out a shot toney ( in 2 fights),,shufford,,,pudar and hawkins yet he'd be able to stop tua? NOT. he's never been able to stop an even semi durable opponent so the chances of him stopping tua are slim as hell

Tua is not the fight I want; let the lanky Dimitrenko see if he can keep Peter off him.

Let's see the HWs of the CURRENT GENERATION, not the 90's, let them have their own day and their own fights.

Exactly, the klit's would have ruined toney in a fight by koing his ass as if he was nothing. I know some toney lovers are going to hate me for saying that but its the truth. Peter is overrated, Wlad fought him at a bad time and still beat him. And if they fought again peter would seriously be hurt. The dudes not even in the great of shape and people still root for him. And in toneys last match, he had problems with a journeyman.

          Legit opponents according to WBC:

2 .- Vladimir Virchis (Ukraine) EBU
3 .- Oliver McCall (US) INTL
          4 .- Hasim Rahman (US) NABF/Interim
5 .- Juan Carlos Gomez (Cuba) LATINO
          6 .- Nicolay Valuev (Russia)
          7 .- Alexander Dimitrenko (Ukraine)
          8 .- Donnell Holmes (US)
          9 .- Alexander Povetkin (Russia)
10 .- David Tua (New Zealand)
          11 .- Calvin Brock (US
I'll bet that any of those fighters will accept an offer to fight Peter for the interim title. No matter what, Peter is 1-2 against top 10 opposition and any of those guys could give him trouble, especially Virchis, Tua, and Brock. Dimitrenko is a very tall mother****er with a cannon for a jab and could jab his way to UD also.

You watch, Peter will take a weak opponent, knock him out, and become the interim HW champion. King will make sure of that.

No, Pavlik hasn't cancelled it yet by claiming he has a back injury.

I feel bad for Peter, he's been trying to get this fight with Maskaev, but it's been a cluster**** from the beginning. I think everybody had a feeling that Maskaev was going to find anyway he could to pull out of this fight. Now Peter will probably knock some bum out, but I hope they can get some kind of quality opponent for him.

At this point I really don't care who Sam Peter fights; I was really excited after the second Toney fight because of how much he improved and want to see if he's improved even more...

Btw, I saw Donnel Holmes on the current top ten; who the hell is he?...
