Kelly Pavlik has a weird body? Agree or disagree?

He says he moves around 800-1,000 pound tires. Which sounds pretty bad ass to me, and no wonder why he hits so damn hard. But he doesn't look so big to me. I've known guys who are way bigger then kelly Pavlik but I can't even see them pushing around 800, 1,000 pound tires like I've seen Kelly do in that hbo commercial... He has a weird lanky body, that is quite deceptive because he doesn't look that big to me atleast he doesn't look like a big guy.

And in the commercial it seemed Kelly said he was working on his speed, seems like he knows Taylors faster then him. Kelly is a smart dude, hopefully Taylor is as smart

He just has a big long middleweight frame; the kind that will eventually fill out to make it impossible to stay at that weight.

I guess it's like lookin at Trinidad for the first time. Felix has the body of a child lol, but he has that whip lash effect in his shoulders when he swings those hooks. Pavlik may not look like much, but when you watch him hit, his long ass arms look swift and dense.

He's gonna be 26 next April, I think he's done all the "filling out" he's going to do. If he gets bigger and moves up, it'll probably be due to intentionally acquiring more mass.

He knows this and will probably only have a few defences of the middleweight title, after he loses to Taylor and gets another shot at the title.

His body looks fine to me, it's just he does not these "relief" muscles. Nor does he need them, you could tell he is insanely strong.

Yeah he moves those big ass tires and he also sludge hammers tires too. He said these techniques would help build muscle that is not tight and help with his explosiveness, which is ideal for a boxer. Obviously he has his boxing trainers but he has been going to some MMA trainers for this specific training.

I heard this on the ESPN Boxing radio show a couple weeks ago, Pavlik was the special guest.

Hbo commercial, he says for his training he movies around 800 pounds to up to 1,000 pound tires for his strength training. And they even show him doing it in the commercial.

Pavlik has a long, lanky middleweight frame. Kinda of like Tommy Hearns did back in the day, and no I'm not making comparisons aside from those in the physical realm. Pavlik's muscle structure is as good as anyone's, it's just that his lanky frame prevents him from being ripped unless he adds more weight. So all outward appearances seem to make you think the dude is just a tall skinny kid with no power, but again, that's strictly appearance.

I also think he gets points for being the only middleweight around who, if necessary, could lift and move Dino with relative ease.
