    Solis is nice, but i dont think he will be able to go into championshp rounds. He hasnt got any rounds in the pros and has been in the ams too long.

    And Gamboa is going to get KOd if he keeps fighting with his hands down the way he has been. He also still fights like hes an amateur.

      Damn Solis weighted like 250 pounds(117kg) for that fight. Unbeleavable.

          Solis is no Felix Savon, but he's definitely got enough talent & skills to pick up atleast one of the alphabet titles if he gets focused.

          Big problem with Solis seems to be the same as a lot of the Cuban defectors:
          - they come over to the west & lose all the discipline that made them so sharp in the first place.

          As PIPBoy 2000 said, Solis weighed in at 250 for that bout, & is reportedly regularly 260.
          Optimal weight for Solis would be 210 - at most 225.

          Unless he starts pulling it together, it looks like his pro career is going to be yet another massive waste of talent.
