    Some Floyd Thoughts

I saw the thread about when Floyd went to England and how everyone on here called him a fake scared punk. My question is why does everyone act like he has to act the same way everywhere he goes? He's not going to do the same things over there because people dont know him as well and he wants to make some new fans. I know for a fact that there are alot of Ricans who love Floyd. If he was fighting Cotto and they had a presser in PR then he wouldnt go there acting a fool. Why would he do that when he can gain some new fans or make his PR fans like him even more. What would you expect him to do, go to PR and call all of them idiots and bums? That doesnt make sense so why do you expect him to do that in England? Its not about being scared, its about being smart. I bet there are a ton of huge Hatton fans over there who really like Floyd now after seeing him in person and will be Mayweather fans after this fight. He still talked trash to Ricky when they got face to face so that tells you right there that he's not scared of where he's at. You guys act like you want him to be like Hopkins and throw down there flag or something.

Its like Floyd going on Dancing With The Stars. He's not going to act the same way he did on the Countdown show. Does that mean that he's fake? Do guys act the same way in a buisness meeting that they do on the streets? No, you adjust to the situation. The Dancing show will make Floyd a huge star if he's good. Its so funny because you look at the cast and they seem so different from Floyd, which should make things very interesting. Im the biggest Floyd fan there is but I know he is not perfect. Im kind of worried about him speaking on that show and coming across like a idiot. Floyd is known to studder alot at times and got his words twisted up when he's not comfortable. He also has a bad way of answering something totally different then what the question was. I think he will be ok though. My real question is can he really dance? Ive never really seen him do anything except the eletric slide and a basic 2 step. All in all this could be big for him and he could have so many different variety of fans who will tune in for the fight. It will be weird when the show ends and then the Countdown show comes on because some people who liked him on the dancing show will probally be shocked but all the bad things he's saying on the Countdown show but I think they will definatly tune in.

I also read a thread on here talking about how delusional Floyd was when he said that he made Oscar a bigger star then he already was. In some ways thats actually true. Oscar was obviously a huge star but the hood cats didnt really care much about Oscar and I think thats what Floyd was getting at. Young blacks didn really care much about a Oscar event or anything and Floyd definatly helped him get bigger with that crowd. Its just like the dancing show will help Floyd get bigger with another crowd his ownself. Hopefully he doesnt go home early because it will be big for boxing if he can go deep and then go right into the Hatton fight

This is quite a longwinded post you made so I didn't real all of it.

However you did not see everything that happened in manchester judging from your post. Floyd was flipping the bird to the fans at one point and saying that he is manchaster walking around like he owns the place.

    So you are wrong

The one thing I totally agree with is hs answering questions. He tends to not answer questions he is asked and goes in a totally different direction than the actual question. None of the reporters complained though...

Well some people do not have the capacity to answer specific question or stick to a specific subject but are all over the place. Just look at this board.

Example: poster Mayan_sun on the "If Hatton beats "Pretty Poof" Mayweather" thread post 40. All he had to do is talk about how big of a upset it would be if floyd were to lose to hatton but he turned it into something else.

Reporters typically don't want answers, they want copy, and mayweather gives good copy.

no one in england really knows who mayweather is. Only the clued up boxing fans.
Most of the peeps in the crowd yesterday would not recognise mayweather in the street, they all thought he was just some bloke whos next on Rickys knock out list
Me personaly though I have found floyd quite funny this week but he got had over yesterday of Ricky.

The truth is he picks his spots with his multi-personalities. Against certain fighters like Zab judah he is ****y in a sugar ray leonard kinda way where he just smiles alot and doesn't really stare down his opponent at the conferences talking alot of **** like he did against oscar and ricky and then in fights like this one he turns his Gangsta mode on.

He is not fake but he is not real either. Judah is way more real then floyd but Judah is also ****** and emotionally unstable. Floyd is multi-dimensional as a fighter and as a character/personality.
