Pavlik can only win by knockout or he will lose

Lets face it Jermain Taylor is America's new boy wonder, remember the Spinks decision, Pavlik ain't gonna take this if it goes to the scorecards.

Pavlik has a totally different style to Spinks which would make me think he has a better chance of getting a decision than Spinks.

Taylor has received the benefit of doubt in most decisions thus far.

Yeah, but public is tired of his unspectacular performances. They need someone like Pavlik.

If Pavlik throws a high number of punches and effectively uses his height reach and jab he will back Taylor up all night and surprise most by winning easily. Everytime Taylor backs up, Last 3 fights, he is ineffective and very spotty on offense. Taylor might look good for a few rounds but once he gets caught with some hard punches his gameplan will change and he will start the backwards shuffle straight to the ropes.

Taylor is HBO's fighter. They control the outcome if it's a fairly competitive fight. When Taylor fought Hopkins and won a close decision HBO said nothing , When in the re-match Hopkin should have won you hear how the champion should get the benefit of the doubt in a close fight, Never heard that in the first fight. He clearly lost to both Wright and Spinks and HBO has not wanted to risk him fighting real middleweights until now. In all honesty I really doubted the fight would happen since all the whining started months ago how poor Taylor was having such a tough time making the middleweight weight. I still say that will be the excuse when he loses. Then he'll move up to SuperMiddleweight where he'll again only fight smaller guys. Taylor has alot of raw talent but he is NOT the super fighter HBO tries to convince us he is, Fact is the Middleweight division is weak compared to other divisions in boxing today. Heck! can you imagine Taylor with all his flaws trying to stay even in the top ten if it was the late 70's or early 80's where you had middlewights like Marvin Hagler and John the Beast Mugabi...yipes!!!!!!!!!!
