Thats the same thing people said about trinidad and look what happened.

Trinidad was not as good as Pavlik as a middleweight, not as powerful and without the textbook technique and the large frame.

Pavlik would win a comfortable UD if not a late TKO.

Pavliks straight foward style plays right into Wrights hands ending in a UD for Winky. Wrights Defence makes it difficult to land clean body shots as well, usualy hiting arms and elbows.

Wright would be waiting for Pavlik to stop punching so he could return fire and it wouldnt stop. Pavlik would force him to trade. He didnt stop punching when Miranda tried to counter and he wouldnt stop if Winky tried to either. Personally I think Pavlik's has the perfect style to beat Wright.

I take nothing away from Wright, he's an amazing fighter! I just think he was best at Jr. Middleweight, plus he's getting a little older now.

winky would out point him. pavlic has done nothing to make me believe that he can beat winky. he beats a one dimensional miranda and all of a sudden people think he can beat winky? yeah ok. hes too slow for winky. mainly everyone winky fought tries to punch through his gloves and it dont work. he has one of the best defence in boxing. i dont even think pavlic is going to make it past Jermain. I dont see pavlic beating someone as elusive and athletic as jermain. Pavlic will probably rule the MW division when Jermain goes up to 168.

One-dimensiona, I hate that argument. Winky Wright is as one-dimensional as it gets. He doens;t use no footwork or head movement as a defense. He throws basic one-twos. Hell, Tito has been described as one dimensional. Pacman has been described as one-dimensional. So what if you're one dimensional, you can;t have success? Btw Winky right is more one-dimensional than Kelly not that it matters much just for one-dimensional agrument sake.

winky is not one dimensional. he has good defense, good offence, he can be the agressor, he has good combinations, and can out box almost anyone and he is not predictible. that means he is elusive. one dimensional is miranda. he has a lazy left jab, and he mainly throws the lazy left jab followed by the big right hand over and over again. thats one dimensional and predictible. of course pavlic would look good against someone like miranda who will slug with him and make him look good. pavlic had trouble with Jose luis Zertuchi because he is a boxer who moves. the only way Zertuchi would get beat was when he would stop and slug with pavlic. he was giving pavlic all types of trouble and even stunned him a few times. thats how i know pavlic can not keep up with taylor or winky because they are smart fighters who will not stand there and fight pavlics fight. I still think winky can beat pavlic. he looked bad against hopkins because he came up in weight and ran out of gas but when he goes back to MW, he should be his old self again.

I mean yeah pavlik has the ability to probably break his defense a couple times. But saying he would crush him is going too far. I mean you make it sound like winky is a bum or something. His lost against hop was like his first lost in almost 10 years. Come on man you can't be serious. Yeah a person can have all the power in the world but intelligence and experience can win against that. think about lacy and calzaghe. everybody was giving lacy the edge cause of his power or what not. look what happened. the man got schooled for 12 rounds. I think pavlik will lose by a split decision.

Yes, and I never held Miranda in very high regard. I think alot of people did because he beet Alan Green who beat Jaidon Codrinton.
