Peter vs. Valuev for WBC title please.

valuev is already in training for a fight on the 29th so he could very easily step in for oleg maskaev and fight for the title. valuev is rated number 6 by the WBC. and the fight is in Moscow, it makes so much sense it would be ****** not to do it, it would probably generate a lot more money and interest than the original matchup

povetkin is ranked also, is russian and fighting in an eliminator next so he may decide he is ready, most likely already in training also

what a story it would be if povetkin took the fight, won, and was champ after 14 fights.

I don't think Peter would be willing to fight Valuev. He can't KO him and would never win on points in Moscow.

This would be an intriguing fight and I do think that he can KO Valuev. Peter could KO anyone if he landed well and I dont think Valuev is that good defensively. But if Valuev establishes his jab he could win the fight...

I don't get it... how would Valuev vs. Peter be for the title if Maskaev had to pull out? Would he be forced to vacate or something? I don't get it.

i dont know if they could strip him outright, but has not made a mandatory defense of his title yet and he as held it for 13 months... and obviously wont be making one for another 3-4

the fight could be for the interim title w/ maskaev forced to fight the winnerwithin 4 months or relinquish it altogether
