    Castillo an ATG

Is Castillo one of the best Mexican lightweights of all time?

He has wins over Lazcano, Jul. Diaz, Corrales, Casamayor, Ngoudjo and Mayweather.

its not dreaming if its a reality. sorry. i like castillo, but he lost both the fights. if he won the first one, mayweather would be 38-1, wouldnt he?

not tryin to cause a ruccus, but floyd is 38-0, meaning he was victorious in ALL his fights, no?

im not even knocking on floyd, theres no shame in losing to a great fighter like castillo, specially when youre moving up and won the rematch clearly...

I definately think he is an all time great for Mexican fighters, period. I think he is going to be highly recognized (like in the lower portion of the top 100 all time). He had good wins over Stevie Johnston, and a good draw. Two good losses against Mayweather (meaning he stretched him to the limit both times), a great win over Casamayor. I definately thought he got the better of Corrales after two fights, by far. I thought he was clearly winning the first fight until Corrales threw the perfect counter. The second fight was all Castillo.

A very, very good fighter, who was very underrated almost his whole career.

One of the two Showtime d-bags said it best when they said, "A lot of people think Castillo is just an unskilled laborer on the inside, not true." I totally agree, the way he jabbed his way to get on the inside was very well done, plus he was a great body puncher.

if it wasnt for the fact that people criminally underrate castillo, people would give both props and not hate on floyd for having problems with JLC and praise castillo for the great challenge he was to one of the modern greats
