the fights were only like 2 weeks apart. and something could actually happen with the WBC Heavyweight belt! what an amazing thing!

and in all honesty, I think an iron jawed, hard hitting, slow McCall would be a way better fight than Maskaev. besides...gets one guy in the list of mandatiories for the WBC outta the way.
