people just seem to hate on taylor, he's fought incredible competition and has no losses (his big fights were all close)

Again, I believe if Miranda was in such poor condition he wouldn't have been able to take the punishment he did take and fight back. Miranda was simply out of his league against Pavlik who was doing serious damage with just about everything that landed and he landed a ton. Eating punches like that to the body and head from the start of round one will take some steam out of you and it's amazing he lasted as long as he did.

It took Miranda three tries to make weight and his camp was willing to pay cash (at the weigh-in) for him to fight at 161 because he almost killed himself to make weight.

everybody watch the pavlik-miranda again... i became a fan after that fight but if he uses that style against taylor, he will have a slim chance to beat him... he did good because miranda was clearly having a hard time fighting backwards... that won't be the acse against taylor... i see a mayweather-dlh type of fight here where pavlik throws a lot of bombs, not landing a lot, and taylor boxes more accurately. taylor by UD.
