Normally I don't, but Dios usually posts some good **** that hasn't been mentioned elsewhere, so I gave it a read.Comment

I read it and to me it looks like the author is taunting Mayweather. I can't get into the author's head, but it plainly appears that way. He's taunting him.Comment

Who the hell wrote this article? Was it Viva Mexico? Even the people that cannot stand Floyd Mayweather understand that he is as talented as they come, and is in his prime or at least near his prime at this point and time.Comment

"Talented", Skills. Just leave it at "talented." "As talented as they come" is overstating things a bit.Comment

good post DIOS, and I agree with a lot of it. If a fighter has to run and hide to win in a way that would NOT necessarily be scored a win in the glory days of boxing because they are out of their weight class, then he should not be in that class. If they did what you said and implemented the classic weight divisions, being an undisputed champ in one consolidated division would be much more prestigious.Comment

Thanks, man, good post DIOS, and I agree with a lot of it. If a fighter has to run and hide to win in a way that would NOT necessarily be scored a win in the glory days of boxing because they are out of their weight class, then he should not be in that class. the main flaw in this writer's logic is that he feels Floyd should not be fighting at WW, but that PBF is too big for Hatton & Co. HUH??
Who would it satisfy if FMJ went back to 140 and dominated the Malignaggis and Witters of the world?
PBF is 146-148 on fight night. Sure, he can easily dry down to 140 and fight guys his own size. I don't want to see that. Every time Floyd has been in a ring with a guy his size, it turned into a mismatch.
Guys: IF Floyd beats Hatton, is there anyone else at 140 who you think can genuinely threaten him?Comment
