I've heard that Sam Soliman has always possesed an extremely awkward boxing technique, but managed to string together a very solid record complete with bouts against World Champions and top-tier opposition... In these match-ups he always held his own by befuddling his competition with his herky jerky movement and wild punching positions, yet in his most recent bout that aired on The Contender: Season 3 against Max Alexander, Soliman's performance appeared unusually ugly and amateurish... He was constantly off-balance and freely launched wild shots at Alexander... Why was did Sam appear so un-talented against Max, and how did he do so well with his against World Class opponents???... I can't really fathom how Soliman competed with Winky Wright for 12 Rounds based on his performance on ESPN...
